Hawaii is open for travel! Below is a summary of the current regulations for Hawaii. Updated: March 21st 2022
As of March 26, 2022, there are no COVID-19-related requirements for domestic travelers arriving in Hawaii and masks are no longer required indoors. International travelers must still comply with U.S. federal requirements.
For more information and FAQs, please visit: https://hawaiicovid19.com/travel/.
Non-U.S. citizens traveling directly to Hawaii from an international destination, regardless of nationality or vaccination status, must show documentation of a negative COVID-19 test result taken within one day of the flight’s departure to the U.S. prior to boarding.
Those who have recently recovered from COVID-19 may instead travel with documentation of a positive COVID-19 test taken no more than 90 days before the flight’s departure and a letter from a licensed healthcare provider or public health official stating that the individual has been cleared to travel.
Exemptions are being considered on an extremely limited basis. For more information, please visit: https://travel.state.gov/.
There are no restrictions flying between islands within Hawaii.
